Louis XIV (1643-1715). Écu de Béarn à la mèche longue 1656, M, Morlaàs. - Avec différent R de Robert Fisson. Magnifiques portrait et écusson. Une petite griffe au droit mais cet exemplaire a peu circulé. Très rare pour l’année et l’atelier, avec quelques exemplaires connus. Superbe.

Millésime inédit pour ce type et frappé avant le 28 mars 1679, pour la première émission ! Buste par François Warin du 1er type. Trace d’un ancien nettoyage mais aujourd’hui recouvert d’une patine. Louis XIV (1643-1715). Demi-écu à la perruque avec buste drapé à l’antique 1688, D, Lyon. - PCGS MS62 (41820823). Tranche lisse. De faibles stries d’ajustage au centre du droit et du revers sinon cet exemplaire est parfaitement centré et recouvert d’une jolie patine. Superbe.
Louis XIV (1643-1715). Double louis d’or aux quatre L, réformation 1693, S, Reims. - Très rare avec quelques exemplaires connus. La réformation est complètement venue et a totalement fait disparaître le type précédent. Légèrement brossé dans les champs sinon d’une grande fraîcheur avec son brillant d’origine. Superbe.

Louis XIV (1643-1715). Écu aux huit L, 2e type, portrait hybride 1709, L, Bayonne. - De la plus grande rareté, pour ce type hybride avec un portrait vieilli qui deviendra, après de minimes retouches, celui du type au trois couronnes. Stries d’ajustage. Soudures au revers. TB.
